President Donald Trump reacted Saturday to North Korea's declaration that it intends to disassemble its atomic test site in under two weeks, which means the activity would be done before Trump's arranged summit with Kim Jong Un one month from now.

"Much obliged to you," the president tweeted in response to the news, including the move was "an extremely keen and benevolent signal!"

Prior in the day, North Korea's Foreign Ministry said the loner Kingdom intends to pulverize the majority of the passages at the nation's northeastern proving ground by a blast, and also expel the perception and research offices and monitor units at the site.

In a similar declaration, North Korea welcomed columnists from the U.S., South Korea, China, Britain and Russia to witness the occasion.

Kim had just uncovered plans to close the test site before the finish of May amid his summit with South Korean President Moon Jae-in a month ago. Be that as it may, investigators say the arrangement doesn't speak to a material advance toward full denuclearization.

On Friday, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo – who as of late came back from North Korea in the wake of liberating three American natives confined by Kim's administration – said he and Kim had held "substantive" talks amid his visit, and was sure that he and Kim "have a quite decent comprehension between our two nations about what the mutual goals are."

In any case, Pompeo included that a "vigorous check program" was fundamental to guarantee the accomplishment of any assentions that Trump and Kim reach amid their arranged summit.

On Thursday, Trump tweeted that the "profoundly expected gathering" amongst himself and Kim, planned for June 12 in Singapore, speaks to a possibly "exceptionally uncommon minute for World Peace!"
